Matt Weist, of CCP, recently represented JOSH.ai with their new lease in downtown Denver. JOSH is a high-end home automation company that allows the homeowner to control their thermostat, security, lighting, and other features through voice commands or a smartphone! The company wanted to relocate downtown for their growing team and create a space to demonstrate their amazing products. Matt Weist and the CCP team were able to help them find the right location and strategically negotiate the appropriate terms of the lease on Josh's behalf. Congrats to JOSH!
Matt Brower, Managing Broker at Column Commercial Partners recently represented Riccardo Mazzeo with his purchase of the 8,000 SF industrial building at 255 Yuma Street, Denver, CO. Riccardo owns Three Tomatoes Catering, which has been in business for more than 40 years! Three Tomatoes is in the process of relocating to the new building and the previous location at 2520 W 29th Avenue is available for sublease. With the onset of the pandemic, many companies have opted to implement a permanent remote-work strategy. BryterCX hired Matt Brower and Matt Weist to help sublease their space in the DTC. After aggressive marketing efforts, the CCP team was able to identify Rightway Healthcare, represented by Abby Pattillo of Colliers, as a subtenant and negotiated favorable transaction terms for the client. It's a win-win situation for both the sublandlord and subtenant!
CCP recently represented Brightfin, an IT Expense Management company with a new sublease of over 8,000 SF at The Point at Inverness in Englewood, CO. After a roll-up of three companies by a Chicago-based private equity firm and a desire to implement a partial work-from-home strategy for their employees, the company needed to make swift decisions about their real estate. Matt Brower and Matt Weist helped identify the appropriate square footage and located several available options in the market. Brightfin ultimately chose to sublease a fully-furnished space from Accenture at The Point at Inverness in Denver's Southeast Suburban submarket.
Thomas Bannigan with CCP recently represented Indicate Capital, a real estate lending and investment company, with leasing out a flex property on Pecos, just south of I-70, in Denver. This is the second of two buildings on the half-acre lot that Indicate Capital manages and enlisted CCP to lease on their behalf. Both of the buildings have excellent street visibility, office interiors, separate garages, and a security gate. The company moving into the second building, at 4575-4577 Pecos, is Baja Ventures, which will be operating a nano brewery and homebrew supply store! A couple of months ago Cheftek signed a lease to rent the first building. The entire lot is now 100% leased!
CCP recently represented a buyer (co-owner of Banner Signs and Decals), in the purchase of a flex property in Lakewood near Kipling and Colfax. Banner Signs and Decals was established in 1993 and has a longstanding reputation of providing Colorado businesses with expertly designed custom signage solutions and is quickly earning a reputation as one of the best in the nation with clients such as Chipotle, Noodles & Company, Google, and other sizable corporate clients. Owning this building, as opposed to leasing space, will provide BSD with new opportunities to excel with their customers.
CCP recently represented Indicate Capital with leasing their flex property on Pecos, just south of I-70. The space has excellent visibility from Pecos, an office, and a separate garage behind the building. The new tenant is Cheftek, a company that repairs commercial kitchen appliances. If you are disappointed that you missed the opportunity for this versatile office/retail/ garage space, a similar building right next door is available as well! Check out the brochure here.
CCP recently represented Platte River Networks (PRN) with the sale of their 12,000 SF office/warehouse building in Denver. Platte River Networks provides IT Management Services for companies in Colorado. With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and many employees working remotely, the company owners decided to downsize their "brick-and-mortar footprint." Matt Brower and the CCP team helped them to find a buyer and negotiate the terms of the contract. Instead of moving out upon closing, a leaseback was negotiated. PRN remains in a portion of the building and the buyer occupies the remainder.
